With its earthy ambiance, wholesome menu, plant-based options, and welcoming atmosphere, it has quickly become a local favourite for mindful diners and coffee enthusiasts.

A Family Affair

Kanéla Café is the creation of siblings Viron and Corina Protoulis, who stem from a family deeply rooted in the hospitality industry. With their parents restaurant, The Greek Fisherman, being on the same premises, 78 Regent Road stirs all day long from morning café to evening restaurant.

Ambiance and Accessibility

The café's interior exudes a cozy, earthy charm with wooden floors, plush couches, and an abundance of greenery. In the warmer months, one can enjoy the tranquil courtyard adorned with a large stone water fountain, providing a peaceful retreat despite the café's central location. While in the colder months, the café’s five fireplaces warm up the cozy inside space, making it the perfect place to enjoy a good cup of coffee. The space is pet-friendly, ensuring that even furry companions can enjoy the experience. ​
